Took while to find the trailhead but once on the trail it was pretty easy to follow. Only a few wrong turns and was able to figure it out quickly. Went as far east as I dared. After the signs about armed patrols to arrest tresspassers and multiple signs saying no tresspassing I decided to turn around. Going west was more scenic anyway. Passed 2 mountain lakes and ran along a creek. Tried to run the hills but mostly ended up walking the steep ones.
