Terrain: Asphalt
Notes: START/FINISH at common point 31 feet west and 11 feet south of southernmost flagpole (of 3) which are located directly west of Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park.
Course is measured with understanding that the westernmost lane of Cigar Lane (from corner of Cigar & Nina Bonnie to the "roundabout" near the front main entrance of the KHP will be coned for runners only. Around the "roundabout" runners can take the tightest angle/tangent against the curb.
Near the KHP Police Station runners go right of the median/trees where there is a bit of a split.
Coming out of the Big Barn (approximately mile 2.5) runner will stay to the right of the median/trees to the stop sign. From that stop sign to the corner of Cigar & Nina Bonnie measurer assumes runner has entire course to cross over 3 lanes.
Suggest course marshals or police at/near "roundabout" and corner of Cigar & Nina Bonnie.
