Plan tonight was to do 7 miles - 1 warm up - 5 at LT pace - and 1 warm down. To save time, I changed to half warm up and cool down. I held 3 miles at 6:31 pace and before I even got there I knew I wasn't going to make it 5 miles without almost puking or falling off. I think the effort was almost a 10 but if I had actually pushed it to a 10, I would have fallen off.

On my treadmill the pace always seems faster than it says and it is at a slight incline which probably doesn't help. I thought about slowing it down and finishing, but decided to quit. I have too much to do tonight anyway and will try this another time at a slower pace on the treadmill. Won't be doing the weight workout tonight either due to other obligations. I guess I am really wimping out but there is more to life than running. I do my best most of the time.
