I ran an interval workout this morning since I can't do the workout on Sat. I warmed up with the group and ran out to the Bridge on the MU Rec trail. I decided the trail was too rough to do intervals so turned around and started at mile 2. The plan was to do six 0.62 mile intervals and recover for 0.38 miles to make it easy. I didn't get it set up on my GPS ahead of time so tried to capture them manually, but only got the first one. My goal was 6:10 pace. The first one was 6:18 pace. After the 3rd one I really needed to badly use the restroom so held off on doing any more until I used the restroom at Scott Blvd. Based on the mile splits I think I may have actually come within at least 10 seconds to hitting my goal pace. They felt just awful. I haven't tried to do intervals since last June I think.
