We ran the Tripp 10K with some modifications. Ran with Phil for the first 2 miles and then decided to see if I could catch Dan E. and Josh ahead of me. Once I caught up, I was not sure how long I would be able to run with them. Legs felt fine and breathing good so nothing to worry about other than bonking. As long as I did not look at my pace, I figured I would be fine. We had a good push at the end downhill on Forum. Course came to 7 miles and had a 6:57 pace at that point. Ran another 1.25 mi cool down with Dan. One of the best fast runs I have had in awhile that was not a race. They really helped push me so maybe there some hope to get some speed back.
