Notes
Carnegie Center Parkinson's 5k in Princeton. Slept over Wright and Alice's. Very very humid, though temp was cool. Legs felt weak from the get-go; did not feel a good run was about to happen. A few things:
* Got up a little later than intended and as a result didn't eat a lot of breakfast. Think I didn't have enough energy.
* Pacing problems: First mile was about 9:12, which is too fast. Second mile was like 10:10. Last mile was even slower. Need to work on starting more slowly.
* Someone on the course said there was only .25 mi left when there was actually about .5. So I sped up too soon.
* Probably might have tied last week, but when I saw 30 on the time board I sort of said screw it and jogged it home.
All in all, a little bit disappointing, though pretty comparable to what I ran three weeks ago and probably about right where I should be.
Need to log more training miles. August was a lot better than September.
Course notes: Another course running around a parking lot, although this one was at least scenic with trees and even a small pond. Miles indicated. A ton of food afterward, like full lunch.
