Again having problems with the left foot slapping the pavement/the left shin tightening up during the run. Did not feel as much tightness in my left hamstring this time, though some was still there. Stopped to stretch but only did it once this time. Tried different shoes. Overall, kind of frustrating. For now I can run through it but concerned about change in gait and what it could mean down the road. I think some kind of stretch and strengthen program is needed. And maybe analysis by a podiatrist or something. Annoying. Also wonder if I should do some run-walk intervals for the outdoor running. Which would annoy me because I haven't had to do that since September. But maybe it would be a way to rebuild my leg strength. I checked my log and I had done two 2-mile outdoor runs without any problems before these recent issues. Wonder if it's as simple as my legs have gotten out of the habit of outdoor running. Could be.
