Running for Cover 5k at the Wachovia Center. Time only approximate. Started off fast (too fast?) Had to slow down. Legs felt heavy. Kept going at a slower pace. Breathing heavy. Finished strong. Time 9 minutes faster than my training run. Awesome!!!!!!!
Note about route: A very boring route and painful in that sense. You have to make several laps and it's in a parking lot. A good race in that it's flat and fast but not a course I will ever love. Ugly T-shirts. Light snacks afterward.
