Notes

Marathons are stupid. Running hilly, twisty-turny marathons on cold windy days, while under-trained and inujred is extra stupid. That wind was no joke, literally stopped you in your tracks at times, and blew you sideways at other times and that course just sucks balls. Merging in with the halfers at mile 17 was extra fun.

But, hey, got my jacket. Woohoo.

Foot actually held up okay through 20 ish. All those little hairpin turns at the very end felt like someone was driving a knife between my heel and ankle bone. Feck. But for the most part I limited the damage and finished the fecker.

maybe you can wear that ironrunner jacket the next time you decide to run manchester...

job well done. may not have been the best end to the season, but it was a pretty good season overall. you did get a shiny new pr way back in march. that was nice.
