Just decided screw the snow, I'm going to run on some trails. The snow said screw you back, and I am tired. Snow was mostly 3-6" with drifts probably 18". A couple places I sank in nearly to my knees. Worked my legs a lot trying to keep my feet up high enough each step and having my feet sink and turn and slide each step. I got pack to "pavement" and my legs were just dead.
I wanted to do the north loop. I went west, and lost the trail. I went east and the trail got very hard to follow on a near cliff. I decided discretion was best and ran extra on the horse trail.
As you can see by the times, there were definitely chunks of walking...
