I think this is a PR by just a few seconds! Last year's race was short, but my pace was 7:13 so that would've been a PR if the course were right. This year, John assured us the course was 8,000 meters and I believe it (Garmin measured 4.99 miles). I didn't start as near the start as usual. Headwind on the way back and spitty rain the whole way. This course is almost pancake flat though, and except for all the sharp turns it's a fast one.
