First real in person race since Baltimore on 10-17-19! Sure, it was the low key local trail race, but a group of us started together and it was timed. Woot! Did pretty well with walk breaks until just before the half when felt a blister on my right foot. After the turnaround, stopped to take my shoe off and pull off the bandage that was rubbing 4th toe (2 blisters!), and Bob Vitale passed me. Oh well, I wasn't really "racing" today anyway. Pretty happy with my time; I was "budgeting" 2 1/2 hours for it so this was good. Bobbi Jo assured us the course was almost 14 miles, but nope not even 13. How'd it measure 13.1 in past years? oh well. Was going to do another mile or two afterwards and my glutes/legs said nope, this is good enough.
