My first real long run in a long time. Made 2 big mistakes-1)Going from 12m long runs to 17m 2) running 30m one week and jumping to 49m the next week. Started out fast running with Jack so nothing felt good for a while. Finally settled into some rhythm with walking the hills. Drank all 4 6oz bottles-3 high test amino viatal and one plain water. Finished the last swallow when I walked through the door. Ate 2 GU's as well about an hour apart. Tummy let out a big rumble 1.5m from home. Contemplated another mile but hungry and tired. Save it for next week. Did the first 6 miles under 9 min/mile pace. Got a solid 8 hours of sleep last night.
