I'm pretty happy with this. I died the last 2k but the majority of the race I did a really good job of pushing myself. Everytime the pack started to pull ahead I forced myself to push up and stay right behind the leaders. When we were at about 5.5k I thought we were past the 6k already so I pushed up to be in 8th place. Then we hit the actual 6k and I was really feeling it at that point so I did the best I could to hang on. The final 600ish meters were right into the wind and at that point it was super strung out so that was really tough. I'm going to focus a lot on feeling fresh for the hard workouts the next couple weeks and getting myself ready for nats. Apparently this course was about 200 meters long too.
