Wow this was bad. I felt like trash at the 3k and when danny chris and michael started moving I just couldn't go with them. Then when there was separation between us it made it even harder for me to push myself. I tried to accelerate going into the last 400 but I just felt spent. I don't know what it is I just didn't feel the same way I did earlier in the season. This was my worst race of the season and of course it had to be one of the most important. For some reason none of us knew there were gonna be fireworks and we all stopped when they started going off. I was so livid at that point, especially because they started them by shooting one single firework up that sounded like a re-start shot. Lyons ran amazing I didn't see that coming at all. Carmel ran well, it's weird to think that we had 5 ahead of their 3rd guy but they still beat us. Anyways, high school xc is probably over now, I have to move past this race because thinking about it gets me so depressed. I'm so ready to grind this winter though.
