This was a bit of a shock to my legs. I felt decent enough aerobically but I haven't moved this fast for this long since xc. Got through it but it was a rough workout. The pace was considerably slower than what I know I'm capable of doing. It was very windy so that is obviously a factor as well. I think now that I have an interval workout under my belt I will be able to improve the next time we do this. I would still consider this a solid workout because it was really about getting my legs used to running at a faster pace, and the fact that we were very consistent and ran well as a pack is also good.
