I'm pretty happy with this race. I think I ran a smart race by letting the kid lead for the first 500 because I was able to make a big move 300 meters out. I got beat by a tiny bit coming down the home stretch but Dakota ran a great leg and really gapped the field then Madiol and Tyler finished it off strong as well. I'm happy with the time as well. Early on in the season when we set our goals I wanted to run a 2:07 in the 800 and I did it here.
