Good to be back running full speed. I was happy to run negative splits. My first mile was in 5:53 and my second was in 5:36. My knees felt good during and after. I'm not super happy with the time but I think with a few solid months of running I'll be in much better shape by cross country season. It was also 80 degrees and we ran 9 miles yesterday. With all this taken into account I'm happy with this. Especially the fact that my knees felt good. I also had more in the tank and didn't start breathing hard until there was about 700-600 meters to go.
