Warm and humid, but we had cloud cover as we set sail from Hopkinton. Didn't notice much of a breeze at any point. Developed a blister on my left foot pretty early, not all that surprising since my training mileage was very low volume. Pretty steady through the hills, struggled on the flats beyond. Cloud cover disappeared and it warmed up. Caught The Kid late, and he kept picking up whenever I would reappear on his shoulder. Sam my pacer from Baton Rouge caught me in the final mile and tried to bring me along with him but I was pretty much shot at that point and just kept my feet moving.
