After a couple of minutes on the rail trail, I found myself behind the women's leader with a great view of Joe O'Leary taking over the lead. Ran well to 10k but then really started to struggle with the rolling hills, heat and humidity. Just tried to keep moving and get it done. Passed Mr O'Leary at about mile 11, and managed just a bit of a kick to get in under 1:28:00. Happy with the effort and result.
