First time running Marcia Lemkin 5k for me, great morning for a race in the Mill City, Greater Lowell volunteers did a great job of traffic control, with a side of cheering as a bonus.
Kara Molloy Haas has kicked my ass hundreds of times on various and sundry courses, but this is the first time doing so six weeks after giving birth. So much awesomeness.
Kid came up to me after the race and said "nice job, you passed me at two miles." He paused a second, then said "I heard you coming the whole way." Took a while for me to stop laughing and say 'yeah, I really can't sneak up on anybody." The Water Buffalo strikes again.
