21:38 WU (2.5 miles at 8:40 pace)
22:49 CD (2.6 miles at 8:44 pace)
Rough one today. The watery plan was 3 sets of 4 hills each, with 3:00-5:00 minutes of jog rest in-between sets. Ideally hills varying in length. Ended up doing 2 sets of 4 hills, 4:00 jog rest in-between sets, with all charges up the same smallish hill.
It. Was. Rough.
Had some pretty bad bathroom issues, both on WU and after the second hill set. Negative self-talk. Wasn't committed to the workout before or during. I've been having so much fun with our last two weeks of workouts, that I was a bit at a loss when this one wasn't going well.
Moving forward, the focus is on rebuilding my mental toughness and positive self-talk. Beth was a champ and rolled with the punches today. Finished with strides in front of my apartment.
