Crystal Lake Team Marathon
Fifth and final leg of the relay, on roads that go around the lake

"Noelle Rocks, Everyone else just rolls" was our team name. :) Since I was the anchor leg, I threw my arms up at the end (since technically I had finished a marathon) and then I had to tell the officials our team name. I was asked if I was Noelle. "Nope," I answered. "Oh, so you must just roll then," the woman concluded. I was definitely amused. Legs felt great, had a little extra left at the end. No rain for the last leg, though it was pouring for pretty much the whole rest of the race. First leg started a half hour late because the race was almost cancelled (thankfully, Kevin and some other coaches and teams talked the officials out of that idea). I had to leave before awards because we had to get family photos, but I'm pretty sure we placed 3rd* in our age group. Definitely a fun race. The team was at every mile mark cheering for me -- they are too cool. :)
*Actually placed 2nd in our age group, 4th female team overall
