Started at 3:30 pace, and held that through 10, still only 28 seconds off pace at the half. Start was warm and if there was a tail wind, I didn't feel it. Felt wind-locked so the warm was harder. By the time it cooled a bit the damage had been done. By 8 knew it wasn't happening, but stubbornly stayed on pace for another couple of miles. Paid for all that in the 2nd half.
