Notes

Stayed on pace per 3:28 pace band (slow start, even effort) until about mile 11. Decided to let the day be more fun and slowed down maybe 30 seconds a mile over the rest of the race. Hills were a bear, both downhill and uphill, but overall a good race. Right knee was hurting laterally from around mile 10, and there was a stomach stitch early. Quads got sore and crampy by, say, mile 15. Around mile 21 had a ham cramp, but some ecaps from Craig (TPFD) seemed to forestall that. Crank egel at 6, 11, 16, planned but forgot at 22. Plenty of water during the race, at each water stop took one or two. Craig kept filling small bottles of water for me after mile 20. Next time bring ecaps to supplement the egels.
