Don't know how it's possible to have such a great day in the middle of March to run, but I'll take it. Wasn't sure I was going to make it. I did and that's one for the plus column.

Every day I do is one less day I didn't.

Spent the last couple of days going back through my running log. The good, bad, and the ugly all play out over the timeline...Amazing how fast I got, and how quickly it went away. I think it's mostly a product of a very limited lifetime base mileage. As I once again attempt to get in shape it is both sad and inspiring to know I've already done it. The biggest difference this time is that I want to focus more on what I'm eating (per Doc Vorias, 80% focus) and less on what i'm doing (20% focus). Reviewing those three plus years of running i think i had it exactly backwards.

Miles, miles, miles was always what i paid attention to, and didn't focus on the food. I knew i would be eating like shit, but didn't address effectively enough. Now that Beck and I are in this together, the food issue should be easier. The focus also needs to turn into a LONG TERM committment, not just this 12 week program. We need to use it as a jump start to a whole new shift in our attitudes and approach to food.

30 minutes a day. Who doesn't have 30 minutes?!?!?!
