Notes
There were a lot of barefoot runners tonight at the Back Cove Weekly 5k, probably 6 or 8 that I noticed. I started out running with Erin, but saw somebody I wanted to chat with a little and she pulled ahead. When I caught up to her, I didn't stay with her too long before running ahead where I saw a guy that ran the black fly race a few weeks ago so I ran with him and chatted a bit. Then I picked up the pace again and went a little quicker as the race went on, passing 3 or 4 barefooters on the way. One of them finished with a bloody foot; she wasn't too happy. Oops. Thankfully, just a little cut on her toe.
