Notes

Decided that my problem with the previous day's treadmill run was that I didn't warm-up. I do around a 10-min. mile for the first mile outside so why not try it inside?

Started the first mile at 10 min. pace and upped the pace one click each 1/4 mile.

Did mile two at 8:57 pace.

Mile 3 at an 8:41 pace and took it down to about 8:30 for the last 1/4 mile.

Started mile 4 at 8 min. pace and then at last 1/2 mile kept increasing speed until the last .10 miles was at a 6:58 pace.

Did a 1/4 mile cool down. Used no incline. Did use iPod which made a huge difference in motivation.

Enjoyed this treadmill run and felt like the increasing pace was a good work-out. Then went into pilates class.
