4 Mile Tempo run. The total effort was 6.5 Miles. I started with 1 Mile easy, followed by 4 miles at tempo pace, I walked for about 30 seconds to a minute, and then I ran easy pace for the last 1.5 miles. I have attempted this workout several times this Spring. This was the first time I was successful. It was definitely tough. I felt the headwind (12 MPH) coming against me for most of mile 3. After I made the final turn to the west, I got some relief and I picked up the pace again.
