Foggy. Humid. The started had a really odd start and off we went. Let someone kids take right off, but they really didn't move as fast as I thought they might. Took the lead after 100m or so and blasted away. First mile way to fast, second mile slow up hill dragging along. the aid Stations didn't event bother handing me water, or maybe they weren't told they need to hold cups out for the passing runners. Took water at 2 and 4. Not my best time on the course (30sec slower), first overall finish though. Pete Williams just behind me 2 min back and Jonathan not far after that. Can't wait for fall. I have to say the organizers of this event just don't quite get it. The course was well marked, good volunteers, but the pre-race stuff just didn't feel organized nor awards which was over an hour after, just do it at the 1hr mark!
