Temp 81, DP 75, wind from the west at 6 MPH.
Did 6 restrained hill repeats up Iwo Jima, stopping at one way sign each rep. Focus was on running evenly, not power. Also did downhill strides, but shortened them to between the grate and a tree, and also slowed them down some.
Was very even on the hill at first, and then it got harder to stay even as I went. Took a water break every two reps, both because it was hot and so I could reset my gait.
Breakfast was rice, hemp powder, smores and salted caramel GUs - sat well.
Breathing was decent - Advair 250/50 and Qvar, plus two puffs of rescue. Can't say breathing was perfect, but was OK given the humidity.
Started without the arm-coolers, and then put them on - they made a huge difference.
