Temp 42, DP 27. Moderate paced run out and back on the towpath - shooting for between 7:45 and 8:00 pace. Started with group for first 2 miles, then picked up the pace with David M. Caught up with and ran with Jonathan and Layth until they started pushing the last two miles, at which point I backed off. Breathing slightly tight at times.
Surprised at how low my heart rate was for the pace. Legs didn't feel great on the way back, but that could be because we were going significantly faster than I thought we were. Or because my legs always feel lousy on the towpath.
