Starting temp 63, DP 61; ending temp 70, DP 64, wind from north at 5 MPH; pollen of 9.9.
Parked at tennis center on Hains Point and did counterclockwise loops to do the 4-3-2-1 workout. Splits were:
4 miles in 29:03 (7:16/7:17/7:15/7:15) - 7:16 pace
float in 7:45 plus break to tie shoes
3 miles in 21:42 (7:12/7:15/7:15) - 7:14 pace
float in 8:00
2 miles in 14:23 (7:08/7:15) - 7:12 pace
float in 8:09
1 mile in 7:04
This felt very controlled and just the right effort. Given the great weather, I was hoping to be a bit faster for the given effort, but have to run where you are.
Breakfast was rice, hemp powder, smores and salted watermelon GUs - sat well.
Breathing was Advair 250/50 and Qvar - slightly tight at first, and then good.
