Temp 71. DP 68. Did 3 mile tempo on the track. Was supposed to be 5K, and then a mile hard, but pulled the plug at 3 miles. I'm pretty clearly still sick. What felt like tempo effort ended up being about 30 seconds per mile slower than norm, and I felt like I was lugging a backpack full of bricks. Instructions are to rest up, keep my running easy, and not do my last 20 until I'm a lot better, even if that means waiting until Monday or Tuesday.
3 miles in 21:07, splits were 7:08, 7:06, 6:52.
But both Greg and Sharon were back at the track, along with Daryle and Jess Chin and some others. And that was awesome.
