DId 2x5 at MP, doing 2 loops around Hains Point from Fletchers. Ran these off of feel, targeting a pace that I felt I could sustain for 20+miles. Felt very smooth and controlled - never straining, and I wasn't terribly tired at the end. A nice confidence boost. Ran these solo since I needed to start earlier.
First 5 in 33:46 (6:50/6:53/6:37/6:43/6:43 - 6:46 pace);
Second 5 in 33:37 (6:41/6:45/6:41/6:44/6:46 - 6:44 pace)
Total was 10 miles in 1:07:23 - 6:45 pace
Breathing was slightly tight at first, and then good - Advair 250/50 and Qvar
Breakfast was rice, hemp powder, birthday cake and french toast GUs, and berry stroopwafel - sat well.
Carried a handheld water bottle and took half a Chai Rocktane between the two sets.
