Temp/DP 73. Workout was 2x800, 1600, 2x800. Trailed behind Matt, Chris C, Layth, Jacob and ahead of Elyse, Jon T, Daryl and some others (big group, since George needed us all on one watch). Splits were 3:03, 2:59, 6:03, 2:57, 2:53.
Not my best workout. My legs felt tired from Sunday's race to start. The workout started very controlled, and the first two 800s felt very easy, as did the first half of the 1600. And then I started to feel lousy, and had to work much harder than I would have liked on the last two 800s. I felt nauseous at times during the workout (something I ate earlier ain't agreeing with me) and also had a headache during the cooldown jog. Breathing also got a bit tough at the end, though not full fledged asthma
My hunch is it was just a combination of cumulative fatigue from the race, mold allergies acting up, and dehydration. I didn't drink water after the first few reps of the workout, and I think it caught up with me in the latter half. Oops.
