Starting temp 77, DP 71; hard running was at temp of 80, DP of 70; finished run at temp of 82, DP 71. No wind; pollen of 9.6
My original plan had been to do 3x2 miles at HM effort, but I decided against that before I even started. Just too hot and I'm not acclimated. So instead I went with 14 miles with sets of 4 minutes at marathon-to-half-marathon effort with 3 minutes jog in between. Six of those was more than enough, as my heart rate was sky rocketing (and what felt like HM effort was very quickly not). Paces for the 6 repeats were 7:51, 7:42, 7:33, 7:17, 7:17, and 7:09.
Took quite a few breaks to puff inhaler (4 puffs altogether) or refill water bottle. Still, I handled the heat better than last week.
breakfast was rice, leucine powder, maurten, vanilla, and smores GUs, and berry stroop wafel - sat well
Breathing was advair 250/50, Qvar, 20 mg pred, and 4 puffs of rescue. Still a bit tight, and coughing some stuff up.
Wore arm-coolers and they helped.
