Temp 33, DP 16. Temps felt great, but had a LOT of trouble breathing -- maybe either the air being way too dry or allergies. But, used this as a chance to practice mental focus.
Workout was 8x800 for Cherry Blossom runners, which surprised me. But went ahead with it. Splits were 3:00, 2:55, 2:54, 2:51, 2:53, 2:51, 2:54, 2:46 (so more uneven than my norm). This was a tough one, but I just focused on working through my breathing issues. Started to tie up badly on the last one, but focused on relaxing, and surprised myself with the split.
Followed up with injury prevention work at gym, including squats (4x8 at 105, 115, 135, 145), good mornings (1x10 at 95, 2x10 at 105), and single leg deadlifts (4x5 at 25).
Used inhaler 3 puffs before workout -- still struggled with breathing. Stomach a bit iffy too, though it never rebelled. Also didn't feel warmed up enough; since bathrooms were closed, I had to use the WL pool bathroom, which cut into my drills time.
