Temp 74, DP 71; wind from NE at 7 MPH, pollen of 9.5.
Parked at Parking lot A on Hains Point and did a loop of the mall before doing three loops of Hains Point. Discovered to my dismay that the bathroom at Lincoln was closed; fortunately there were portapotties on the mall.
Ran this progressive, splitting as first 5 miles averaging 9:28; next 5 averaging 7:59, next 6 averaging 7:14, and then a 1/2 mile jog.
Carried water and ended up refilling it once on each loop of Hains. The weather report says that it wasn't that humid, but I was still draining my water bottle pretty fast. Took an expresso GU during the marathon pace part.
Breakfast was rice, hemp powder, smores and salted watermelon GUs - sat well.
Breathing was Advair 250/50 and Qvar - breathing was good.
Wore arm-sleeves.
As for the SL20s - I've decided that I like them for marathon pace work on flat ground or uphill; they are just a bit awkward downhill (maybe because the toe box is too long).
