Did 6 hill repeats at Iwo Jima solo. Stuck with 6 due to bad air quality and the fact that I'm racing on Saturday. 6 felt like the right #.
Made a point of really crawling the recoveries so I could emphasize the hard stuff, especially the downhill strides.
Took a water break after the 3rd rep; got delayed in my start of the 6th rep by a bus that blocked the road.
Breathing was OK - Advair 250/50
Stomach was a bit off and cramped at the end - breakfast was rice, hemp powder, and salted caramel and birthday cake GUs. I don't think it was breakfast that caused it - stomach was off even before then.
