Temp 45, DP 42, no wind. A bit of light rain towards the end of the workout.

The workout was supposed to be 1600, 2x1200, 2x800, but we modified to 1600, 2-3x800 since I'm racing on Sunday. Did the first 1600 and 800 with a big pack including David K, David M, Juan, Maddie, Lindsey, Rihana, Barrett, Matteo, Rachel, Thomas, and maybe a few others I'm forgetting. Did the other two 800s solo. My gait was a bit off at first, but I think that might be because I was crowded - felt better once I was able to run solo.

Split 6:12 (too fast - wanted half-marathon effort, but let myself get dragged), and then 3:01, 2:59, 2:58. Recoveries of 4:50 after the 1600 and 2:41 and 2:31 between 800s (was looking for other groups to sync up with so I could start on their watch and make it easier for George to time).

Breathing tight at first, so used my inhaler after the 1600. Had to retie my shoes between 2nd and 3rd 800 - I need to replace those laces.

Hamstring held up very well.

Breakfast was rice, hemp powder, and smores and salted caramel GUs - sat well.

Breathing was Advair 250/50, Qvar, and three puffs of rescue - one in early am, one before workout, one during. Not sure why I needed so much - breathing was fine later.

Wore tights and normal longsleeve shirt. Was a bit warm, but that was the point - both for heat acclimation and to keep the hamstring warm.
