Temp 53, DP 52. 5 mile tempo - tried to keep it relaxed. My shoe was annoyingly loose for the first 3.5 miles, which slowed me up more. Finally it came completely untied, so I stepped off to fix it. Interesting how my pace picked up considerably for the same effort after I fixed it.
Splits were 6:46/6:46/8:26 for 2000/4:52 for 1200/6:26. 33:16 for 8K (less the time to retie my shoe)
Worked on breathing exercises during the run, and relaxed shoulders, even if that made me slower. Helped a lot with breathing.
One puff Foradil before run
