Temp of 38, with a decent wind. And pollen definitely getting up there. Workout was 6-10x800, I did 8. Splits were 2:59, 2:55, 2:53, 2:53, 2:54, 2:53, 2:53, 2:51.

Too fast. I tried to make myself back off by dropping behind the group instead of keeping up, but still ran faster than I'm supposed to - I should be closer to 2:56. And dropping behind the group also mean that on the second rep of each lap I was fighting the wind solo. Was pretty good about staying relaxed and not straining for the most part, but did find myself tensing up each time we hit the wind. Legs were a bit tired by the end. I could have cranked out two more, but probably would have gotten close to race effort.

Two puffs of inhaler at 5:40. Stomach was very good today.

Followed with injury prevention work at gym, including squats (3x8 at 115, 125, 135) good mornings (2x10 at 100) and single leg deadlifts (2x5 at 12)
