Temp 64, DP 61, wind from north at 5 MPH; pollen either very high (Wunderground) or 5.5 (pollen.com).
The workout was 2x800, 1600, 2x800, and then an optional 1-2x400. I did 2x800, 1600, 2x800, 2x200 in 3:11, 3:05, 6:23, 3:03, 2:58 and then 43 and 43. Recoveries after the 800s ranged between 2:38 and 2:49; 5:08 recovery after the 1600; full recovery for 200s. Worked with/trailed group of Matt, Bradford, Bailey, Juan and some new guy.
Felt a bit stiff and deadlegged at the beginning (should have done drills). Strained a bit on the last 800 so added in two 200s trying to run fast but relaxed.
Breakfast was rice, hemp powder, smores and salted caramel GUs - sat well.
Breathing was Advair 250/50 and Qvar, plus two puffs of rescue before workout and one during. Pollen was slightly irritating.
L/R balance at 48.4/51.6
Right foot (sural nerve) a bit tender on the cooldown. Fixing my shoe (the tongue had gotten wadded up) helped.
