Notes
This was a poor race for me. Set a PW in half marathon. Completely bonked energywise at about the half way point. Had a 8:40 pace going to that point. On way back had to walk a couple of the uphills. I think it was several small factors that added up to a bad day- head cold for the last week, no good breakfast since leaving the house at 5 AM to get to race (3 hr drive), no gu's along couse, lost motivation when I realized I wouldn't break 2 hrs, hills were tougher than I expected.
Race conditions were decent-cool and overcast but humid and light rain near the end of the race.
This was a small race (maybe 200 runners). I'd run it again though and hopefully be better prepared.
