It's really hard to find something good about this race. The time was certainly not what i wanted to get today The overall place and team place weren't excellent either. I was going for a 33:40ish for the time second on the team. The course itself was a shit hole. A little over a 1k into 4 2k loops. The night before the course had got a bit of snow and it was not cleared before people ran on it. because of this just about every corner and some straits in the loops were shit puddles. normaly welcome conditions such as this and i run very well in them but today was not that. i think this may be something i have lost a bit since high school maybe. i really got slow down by the mud and it may have been because i didnt wear spikes but i dont think they would have helped much. i didnt have much of a feeling to throw up during the race this time which felt really good. 1k splits were off my watch: 3:12 3:14 3:34 3:38 3:40 3:41 3:38 3:39 3:34 3:43. As you can see from this i dropped of terribly once we got into the loop. Did mention that those loops sucked ass. overall this would have been a fun race if it had not been for the sucky time.

Overall i think this season went pretty well. I got a good amount of miles in and stayed healthy with no real injuries, not including the summer. I hope that we can get some harder workouts in for the future since none of the ones we did this season were all that hard. I'd like to see some longer tempos and some faster mile reps. Hoping we can also keep outside when the weather gets bad. looking forward to some rest though.
