RMAC Championschips at Tiara Rado Golf Course in Grand Junction, Colorado. roughly 4500 feet great weather and no notable wind. definitly had some useable elevation changes in the course but nothing to wild. course official told us it was like ten meters long the day before. stuck with joel almost to the 4k and had a pretty good team pack overall at that point which may not have been for the best. had to drop back from joel a little bit before the 2k loops started which was probably for the best, though i maintained that ten second gap on him until the finish. i think i ended up passing a lot of people in the two loops. i think joel luke and i all had pretty good performances, rest of the guys didnt really run like were at a championship race. as far as my own performances i am very satisfied with how well i have done so far this fall. i still felt like i could maintain that pace for another 2k so i am looking forward to regions.
I know coach says that times dont matter in the RMAC but this course raced very fast in comparison to the last few years. im pretty sure the course wasnt short and the elevation wasnt to low so i really dont know what would explain this.
