|Why do I run:
I'm motivated by the fear of becoming a blob again. Also, online challenges seem to bring out my competitive side.
|Why I started running:
I always wanted to run a marathon. In 2011 I started with 10 seconds of running and 50 seconds of walking, for 10 minutes. Ran the Detroit marathon that October, one week before my birthday. Have lost 60lbs since I began and have gone on to train properly.
