The first loop i ran strong - 1:1:18 the second loop was strong - 1:14 - the third loop was much tougher and I struggled. i think the winds just picked up a bit and away went my dream of a sub 5. - 1:21:30 the 4th loop i felt better, but couldn't catch up to break sub 10m miles which was my new goal. About two miles out, saw Kim way in the distance and ran hard to try and catch her. With .9 miles left, i knew i wouldn't catch her, but i did close the gap to about 12 seconds. Overall i was pleased with the race. Felt like i ran hard for the most part, but I didn't go all out. Good training run for collegiate peaks.
