Notes

Carpenter Run today. I had 25 mins of 1 on 1 off so 50 mins total for the workout. Sam and I worked really well together. We went out on the bike trail for this one. My groin was aching pretty painful for the first half of the workout and then I forgot about it cuz a new pain set in lol. We were moving. Honestly, I felt like I was doing 400 repeats. Number 8 was already frickin fast and I still had 17 more to go. I worked on staying relaxed and focused in on Sam when he got a meter or so in front of me. He looked really good today. At 20, I wanted to stop with Sam, and same with each rep after that. Even at 24 I felt like being done but I did another one anyways! It feels good to tackle a big workout like that and I feel really confident in racing now that I have that one under my belt. Sam and I guessed we were going between 4:38-4:50 pace on the ups and then I probably averaged 7:40 pace on the downs. Really need to take care of my groin this weekend. I plan to xtrain tomorrow. Diet has been good. Really enjoying the journey so far this outdoor season. I have faith that big things are coming. Onto the next. MONSTER.
